Embodying excellence: the new Zenith Defy Extreme Mirror Zenith has redesigned the Defy 1/100 Second Chronograph in Mirror Camouflage, a model that reflects all light and its surroundings but does not have a color of its own. The angular case of the new Defy Extreme Mirror and its integrated bracelet are made of stainless steel, which is then perfectly mirror-polished to give it a chrome-like sheen. The mirror effect extends beyond the case. The open multi-layered dial showcases a central element made of sapphire crystal with a translucent and reflective metallic mirror finish. The 1/100-second chronograph scale features satin-brushed metal elements, making the dial easy to read while maintaining a smooth all-metal theme. The El Primero 9004 high-frequency automatic chronograph movement is partially visible through the open dial and sapphire case back. It provides 1/100th of a second time measurement via two independent escapements, with the chronograph section vibrating at a frequency of 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour) and the chronograph function at a frequency of 50 Hz (360,000 vibrations per hour). The power reserve is 50 hours for chronograph use. The chronograph has a battery life of approximately 50 minutes in use. The star-shaped winding rotor adopts a silvery gray metallic tone, echoing the case and dial elements. The watch is 45 mm in diameter, water-resistant to 200 meters/660 feet, and comes with two additional black straps (one rubber, the other Velcro), which can be quickly changed The mechanism is easily replaced with a stainless steel bracelet on the back of the case.
